The Democrat hopefuls for 2028 are already beginning to strive to make sure all of their web-footed fowl are organized in a linear fashion. Now, that’s going to take a lot of work – these are Democrats, after all, and sometimes it looks as if they cannot agree on the colour of the sky without first consulting to see what the terminally woke, far-left voters are saying.
That would not bode nicely for their possibilities in any national elections. But then, for many Democrats, if actuality is over right here, then they’re miles away, over there. Case in level: Axios, in a current questionnaire, requested “almost 20” Democrats if it was attainable for a man to develop into a lady. All but one of them declined to reply. I never thought I’d give Rahm Emanuel any props for something, but he was the only one who said “no.”
Axios questioned top Democrats who are thought-about attainable 2028 hopefuls on trans points, and discovered that (*19*) including former Vice President Kamala Harris, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The questions have been whether or not transgender ladies who have been born male ought to take part in ladies’ sports activities, whether or not transgender youths under 18 must be allowed to be positioned on puberty blockers and hormones, and, (*20*)
Only former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel would definitively reply, saying his responses have been unchanged from an interview last 12 months when he said a man cannot develop into a lady and organic boys should not play in ladies’ sports activities.
I’d like to see the breakdown on who answered what on the “Can a man become a woman” query. A “yes” reply is a stark denial of actuality – trace, a man cannot develop into a lady, nor vice versa; a man is a man and a lady is a lady, and ne’er the twain shall meet. That’s Reproductive Biology 101, which apparently none of these Democrats have bothered with. Either that, or the hyper-woke have laid such an emotional beat-down of these Democrats that they’re now afraid to acknowledge actuality.
Two other Democrats tried to break up the newborn.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg also responded to the questions.
Shapiro doubled down on his earlier feedback that local sports activities officers must be those in charge of figuring out the participation of transgender athletes in sports activities, but his personal view was that trans youths do not deserve an “unfair advantage on the playing field.”
A spokesperson for Buttigieg referred Axios to an NPR interview he gave last 12 months, where he acknowledged “serious fairness issues” in the trans athlete sports activities debate and called for compassion for transgender people.
That’s better, I suppose; at least they’re leaning in the correct direction where sports activities are involved.

This is an issue in which the Republican Party has been handed a big, heavy cudgel to beat the Democrats with. This must be a debate query every time any Republican candidate faces any Democratic opponent; the Republican Party ought to insist on it. Put them on the document. Make them alienate either their hyper-woke constituents or the remaining of America. I do know which facet a voting majority goes to come down on.
Most of us know the real deal – boys will probably be boys, males will probably be males, and ladies and ladies will probably be ladies and ladies. These are the choices. And to that, all I’ve to say is, vive la distinction!
