Singer and Popstars sensation Darius Campbell Danesh left behind a six-figure fortune following his premature death, new legal paperwork have revealed.

Darius, who rose to fame on ITV’s Popstars, was discovered lifeless in his US residence in August 2022 on the age of 41.

His passing was linked to the poisonous results of chloroethane, which he had been utilizing to handle continual neck ache ensuing from car accidents in 2010 and 2021. The medical expert ruled his death an accident.

Legal data show that the singer didn’t have a will, and his property was valued at £644,050.

They added: “The night before Darius passed, he had dinner with close friends, who reported that ‘Darius was in a lot of pain, but he was in good spirits when he was with us.’ They stayed together until the early hours of the morning and made plans to meet the following day.”

When he did not show up, lodge employees had been requested to verify on him.

Sadly, as his household defined: “Around 11:50 a.m. on eleventh August, Darius was discovered unresponsive in mattress by the lodge employees within the residence the place he was staying.

“The Rochester Fire and Police Department pronounced Darius deceased shortly after at 12:01 p.m. The autopsy report also concluded that Darius’ heart was twice the expected size. This may have contributed to his respiratory arrest.”

The family emphasized that his passing was determined to be a tragic accident, with authorities confirming no suspicious circumstances.

They continued: “We will always remember Darius for his open-hearted warmth, generosity of spirit and the way he touched so many people’s hearts and minds. He was an incredibly loving, caring and supportive son, brother and friend. His spirit of love and light is still with us all.”

Tributes poured in from the entertainment industry, with Pop Idol stars Will Young and Gareth Gates describing him as “driven, courageous and gentle.”

Hollywood actor Gerard Butler additionally shared his admiration, stating: “To those lucky enough to have met Darius for more than a few minutes, they were deeply moved by his infectious laugh and barely containable zest for life. He was always armed with a smile, a booming voice, and a genuinely warm embrace that few could resist – nor would they want to. He was an incredible talent, a singer whose voice touched your soul and an actor with great presence.”

Darius made an impression on the music industry together with his debut single Colourblind, which topped the charts in July 2002. Following his passing, the music re-entered the music charts and soared to the primary spot on iTunes.
