Developed in partnership with Netflix, the brand features a collection of products personally developed by Meghan over the past year, refined through years of home cooking and entertaining.
Meghan graced Drew Barrymore’s talk show on Thursday in the US, where she was promoting her lifestyle series and brand. During a baking segment, Meghan subtly positioned a jar of her As Ever jam for the cameras.
She shared anecdotes about her “funniest, sweetest, most charming” husband, Prince Harry, and mentioned that their children, Archie and Lilibet, speak with “very American accents” but amusingly say “zebra” in British fashion.
Introduced as “Meghan Sussex” by Barrymore—correcting an earlier misnomer by Mindy Kaling on her Netflix show—Meghan was greeted with a warm, extended embrace from her host. Acknowledging Barrymore’s reputation for being tactile, Meghan quipped, “I’ve heard you like to connect.”
The conversation turned personal when Barrymore, known for roles in ‘Never Been Kissed’ and ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ inquired about Meghan’s comfort with affection.
Meghan responded, “We missed human connection, certainly after the pandemic and everything else, we crave being able to go ‘Hi’ and like ‘My friend, are you here?’ and to really be able to hold and touch and embrace someone.”
During the conversation, Drew presented the duchess with a photograph of herself alongside Harry’s late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The host became emotional as she held a framed black and white image of her seven-year-old self presenting the princess with a plush ET toy at the premiere of the popular film in Leicester Square in 1982.
