The Bachelor finale date confirmed amid schedule | TV Shows
The Bachelor Season 29 is coming to an end, and after some confusion over when the finale would air, it is set for March 24th on ABC.
The show is coming to an end with Grant Ellis set to make his final decision between Juliana Pasquarosa and Litia Garr, though fans all think they know who he picks.
Others were also left surprised by the final two, after Zoe McGrady’s elimination following a disastrous Fantasy Suite date, after Litia still bucked tradition on her date by taking sex off the table.
However, fans were also left confused by when the finale was supposed to air after conflicting dates were reported for the final episode.
Various reports cited the episode wouldn’t air until March 31, but it is airing on March 24.
However, after the March 24 finale, Grant’s season will end with only nine total episodes.
His season was likely shorter because he also had a smaller number of contestants than past Bachelors.
Matt James had 37 women compete for his heart in Season 25, while Joey Graziadei saw 32 contenders. Chris Soules, Nick Viall, Colton Underwood, Peter Weber, Clayton Echard, and Zack Shallcross all had 30 women to choose from as well. Meanwhile, Arie Luyendyk Jr and Ben Higgins had 29 and 28 competitors respectively.
By comparison, Grant had 25 competitors when his season started–which likely led to fewer episodes as he had fewer women to eliminate throughout.
The Bachelor Season 29 finale airs Monday, March 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
