American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe admits to missing the | TV Shows
It has been six months since former American Pickers co-host Frank Fitz died, but Mike Wolfe is still mourning his friend and has moments he feels like he can talk to him again.
Wolfe, who recently changed things up by working on a movie, Day of Reckoning, has been open in the leadup to the film’s premiere about whether or not he plans to propose to girlfriend Leticia Cline, who he admitted he is in “no rush” to marry.
However, he has also reflected back on his time with Fitz, who left the show in 2020 amid alleged tensions between them and health issues.
He suffered a stroke in 2022, and died in September 2024 with Wolfe as one of the people by his side.
Now, Wolfe is opening up more about his former friend, admitting he still sometimes struggles with remembering that he’s no longer there.
“Absolutely we do. So we’ve been very blessed,” he said. “We had the same crew for 13 years. Everybody I worked with was very close to Frank.”
The two co-hosted the show together when it premiered on The History Channel in 2010.
Fitz’s cause of death was stated as being from “late sequela of cerebral infarction,” which is also known as a stroke.
