Bachelor’s Sean Lowe shares update after vicious | TV Shows

Former Bachelor star Sean Lowe has given fans an update on his recovery, one month after a terrifying series of attacks by his dog left him with deep wounds and a hospital trip.

“A lot of you have asked how I’m doing. I’m doing great. I’m healing,” the 41-year-old said in a recent Instagram story, while holding his young son Isaiah on his lap. “My scars aren’t as bad as I thought they would be.”

Lowe showed viewers how a severe gash just below his wrist had improved. The stitches are now out, the skin has turned pink, and though he still has a groove and indentations where the wound once was, doctors told him that “that’s about as good as it’s gonna get.”

He added: “It won’t be red forever, but I’ll have a cool scar there forever.”

His son, Isaiah, added some levity, noting: “Thank you for talking to my Daddy [and saying] nice things.” Lowe said, “Isaiah likes to kiss this one here,” pointing to the scar.

Lowe was rushed to the ER for stitches but was attacked again within 12 hours after a gust of wind pushed open the door separating the dog.

“Going through a dog attack is pretty darn traumatic. Having to re-live it less than 12 hours later…is a feeling I don’t think I ever want to experience again,” he said.

Moose has since been rehomed, and Lowe is working with a no-kill shelter and animal control to find a safe, long-term solution.

“It wasn’t Moose’s fault,” he said. “I think it’s clear he experienced a lot of trauma before we got him and had something neurologically wrong where just a switch flipped.”
