For the first time, the UFC octagon is in Des Moines, Iowa for tonight’s UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Figueiredo occasion at Wells Fargo Arena.
The occasion is headlined by a bantamweight bout between No. 4 ranked Cory Sandhagen and former flyweight champion and No. 5 ranked bantamweight Deiveson Figueiredo.
Both fighters will enter Saturday’s predominant occasion coming off a loss. Sandhagen misplaced to Umar Nurmagomedov via unanimous choice final August. The loss snapped a three-fight successful streak.
