DHS Invites You to Meet the Detainees That NJ | Political News

Earlier on Friday, a group of New Jersey Democrat representatives and the mayor of Newark, NJ, had been collaborating in a protest exterior an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Newark when, as my colleague Ward Clark wrote, issues went fully sideways:

On Friday, it was a group of New Jersey politicians arriving at Delaney Hall, a New Jersey facility housing the worst of the worst – unlawful aliens who are gang members, killers, youngster abusers and rapists – and demanding to be allowed in to the facility to “exercise oversight.”

Reps. Rob Menendez Jr., Bonnie Watson Coleman and LaMonica McIver, all New Jersey Democrats, entered ICE’s Delaney Hall detention facility in Newark and had been held up inside the first checkpoint, Department of Homeland Security spokesperson DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin informed Fox News.

“These members of Congress storming into a detention facility goes beyond bizarre political stunt and puts the safety of our law enforcement agents and the detainees at risk,” a DHS assertion to Fox News mentioned. “Members of Congress are not above the law and cannot illegally break into detention facilities. Had these members requested a tour, we would have facilitated a tour of the facility. This is an evolving situation.”

The prison at present holds alleged killers, MS-13 gang members, youngster rapists, among different felony offenders.

After the fracas Friday began by the Dems in Newark, the Department of Homeland Security helpfully crammed in more of the story, in a thread on their official X account, inviting the American people to “meet” these not-so-innocent males whom the lawmakers are speeding to defend. One of them is Saravia Santamaria, a citizen and national of El Salvador, whom the New Jersey posse identified as the ICE/ERO Newark Fugitive Operations Unit “encountered” during Raven operation. HHS says he’s a identified and verified member of MS-13.

SARAVIA-SANTAMARIA was served with Form I-200 Warrant of Arrest and I-286 Notice of Custody Redetermination.

The ICE/ERO Newark Fugitive Operations Unit, NJ encountered SARAVIA SANTAMARIA, Dennis Josue, a citizen and national of El Salvador, pursuant to Raven operation and identified and verified MS-13 gang affiliation.

ESTEVEZ has lively gang affiliation with avenue gang “Dominicans don’t play”. he’ll stay in ICE custody pending a removing listening to.

Unfortunately for the more average members of the Democrat Party, many of the radicals in their get together on the far left appear joyful flying their freak flag over the situation du jour. They are hard-headed and never be taught from their mistakes–which is not such a dangerous factor when they go ga-ga for felony detainees.
