A veterans’ group has described the Trump administration’s proposed job cuts to The Department of Veterans Affairs as a “slap in the face” to those who served, saying the deliberate reorganization of the company will put their lives at risk.
The authorities is reportedly planning to slash over 80,000 jobs from the company, which gives health care and different providers for hundreds of thousands of veterans.
In an X post on Memorial Day, progressive veterans’ group VoteVets stated the layoffs would hurt their members.
