The View host issues apology for tasteless P Diddy | TV Shows

Sara Haines has apologized to her fans after she was slammed for making a joke about Sean “P Diddy” Combs that didn’t sit well with them.

The View hosts have discussed the rapper’s high profile court case more times than one. Their comments have ranged from addressing Diddy’s outfit choices to the “generational divide” amongst the jury.

The latest conversation the ladies had regarding the trial discussed whether President Donald Trump might consider pardoning the rapper, who is currently facing five charges across three federal indictments, including sex trafficking, conspiracy racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Within their discussion, Alyssa Farah Griffin mentioned 50 Cent and his feud with Diddy.

The host pointed out that the 21 Questions rapper has taken it upon himself to try to dissuade the president from doing such a thing.

While Whoopi took a few hours to apologize to the fans, Sara righted her wrongs almost immediately and quickly apologized to the crowd. Underneath her breath, she whispered “sorry” and kept to herself for the rest of the conversation.

This comes just days after she received backlash for her comments on Elon Musk and his decision to step down from his spot in the Trump administration.

Fans begged for a “mute button” for the Sara and Alyssa after the host admitted: “I do like the break up of Elon and Donald Trump. Alyssa, you’ve been saying for months ‘this bromance can’t last.’”

Sara Haines has been a part of the all-ladies panel since 2016. Within the last decade, she has also starred on GMA3 alongside Michael Strahan and Keke Palmer in a segment titled Strahan, Sara & Keke.
