The final time Markle, 43, and Harry, 40, attended the army parade was when they celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. But even then, they have been pressured to watch from a separate balcony alongside different non-working royals.

Following Queen Elizabeth’s death in September 2022 and Charles’ ascension to the throne, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped being invited to Trooping the Colour altogether.

“This is the first year of his life that Harry hasn’t been invited at all,” palace insider Richard Eden famous in 2023. “With Harry and Meghan, we’ve always had a sort of ‘will they, won’t they’ before every big royal occasion.”

“Well, it seems like the palace has tackled this this time by just not inviting them at all,” he added. “So, you know, it’s significant.”

Although Harry and his spouse give up their royal duties and left Buckingham Palace for California in 2020, some officers thought the pair would still be invited to occasions like Trooping the Colour.

“When Harry and Meghan quit royal duties, I think officials were very keen to stress that they would still be invited to occasions such as Trooping the Colour,” Eden stated three years in the past. “So the fact they haven’t been invited is very significant.”

News that Prince Harry and Markle have been not invited to Trooping the Colour for the third 12 months in a row comes after the duke claimed that his 76-year-old father was not talking to him.

“I would love reconciliation with my family,” Harry instructed the BBC in May after he misplaced his remaining bid for taxpayer-funded security in the UK. “There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore.”

However, an insider has since claimed that there’s “no turning back” for Prince Harry and King Charles after more than 5 years of damaged relations.

“King Charles remains tender towards his son but can’t risk communication. Prince William now has absolutely no interest in mending fences,” royal skilled Hilary Fordwich instructed Fox News this month.

“The animosity is so deep that William has shut the door on Harry,” she added. “Charles is not willing to go against his heir’s wishes.”
