In case you missed what occurred on Thursday on the House flooring after House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) introduced the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB), we’ve got you coated.

In a clip from C-SPAN’s protection, Johnson introduced the House’s last vote tally, revealing that Trump’s signature reconciliation invoice had handed 218-214, stating that the “motion is adopted” while utilizing his gavel to make issues official.

First, the room erupted in cheers and applause as Johnson smiled about truly having the ability to get Trump’s OBBB executed forward of the July 4th vacation.

Several people in the chamber began chanting “USA,” and soon a swarm of different legislators joined in, repeating the identical three letters, “USA!, USA! USA!”

It’s a chant so many of us have come to embrace, most likely since before we had been outdated enough to know just how impactful those three little letters could be in our lives. But actually, it is more of a battle cry. And while it may be potential that one, two, or even three members of the Democratic Party joined in on the enjoyable (when, of course, no one was wanting), it actually does not matter. Does it?

RedState’s Susie Moore reported on Johnson’s speech for the ages before the OBBB formally handed.

Following Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ (D-NY) record-setting eight-and-a-half-plus hour marathon of lying, during which all method of epithets had been hurled at the OBBB in the Democrats’ hopeless effort to delay the inevitable vote, “Magic Mike” took to the podium and availed himself of his own “Magic Minute” to handle the House forward of the last vote. 

Indeed, it was nearer to 20 minutes, but Johnson made the most of it, starting with some much-welcomed humor when he kicked it off by plunking a giant binder down on the podium, as though he had been getting ready to match (or outlast) Jeffries.

And we have gotta consider that, we have gotta understand it, we have gotta acknowledge that we dwell in the best nation in the historical past of the world — it is not even close.
