In The Battle of Merch, Trump is Winning While

In the battle of hawking merch, President Trump is successful in that space, too. A couple of days in the past, I tuned into “Gutfeld!” One of the segments featured Trump promoting new merch. A Cologne. The scent of successful.  

“Trump Fragrances are here. They’re called ‘Victory 45-47’ because they’re all about Winning, Strength, and Success — For men and women,” he wrote Monday night. “Get yourself a bottle, and don’t forget to get one for your loved ones too.” 

“Enjoy, have fun, and keep winning!” the president added 

Leftists are dropping their minds over it. Not because it smells like successful, but because of the timing. Now Trump is hocking a cologne while he is president.

Did Trump spend any time testing smelling samples to come up with the appropriate odor of successful? Of course not. Call me a horrible individual, but I can’t help but chuckle at the thought that hundreds of leftists who realized of Victory 45-47 are yelling into the void or perhaps screaming into a pillow. Trump isn’t actually “selling” any merch. At least not actively. The cologne is bought by 45Footwear LLC through a licensing settlement.  

“Our fragrances are curated to capture the essence of success and determination, with each scent symbolizing victory and strength,” the web site reads. “Spray on Fight, Fight, Fight, and feel the immediate power!”

I believe it’s hilarious. 

Others who have resided in the White House promote merch. Since leaving the White House, the Clintons have bought affect. George Bush paints portraits. I can’t discover any listings that offer his seemingly paint-by-numbers portraits for sale. Maybe he offers them away. He ought to. But you possibly can buy prints if you’re so inclined. 

And then, there are the Obamas. Barack and Michelle. Barack sells himself. If he might bottle himself, he would. The energy couple cut a deal in 2018 with Netflix value an undisclosed quantity. You’ll discover that she never mentions the explanation for the 4th. Something like “Our nation’s birthday,”…or one thing. I do not know, it’s like speaking about Christmas and mentioning all the pieces but Christ. I never thought Michelle was proud of her nation, so this appears sort of on model.
