She went on to say that Jason hadn’t liked the ‘messier’ storylines within the film, saying it wasn’t that typical feel-good family Christmas movie.

To this, Ed said: “That’s the point. It’s different shades of love and betrayal and hurt and heartache. Love isn’t just happiness. Love is all of those things.

“That movie is, I just think, perfect,” Ed added, before asking Kylie about her favourite storyline within the film.

“That’s hard,” she mentioned, making Ed ask about Colin Firth’s storyline. “How did you know? That’s right!”

“It’s essentially the most romantic one, it’s great,” Ed said, before urging Kylie to watch About Time, saying it’s ‘ heartwarmingly heartbreaking’.

People were in awe of the interview, with many followers soon taking to the comment section to share their own thoughts on what the best film is.
