Wednesday season 2 premieres on Netflix on August 6 and the up to date trailer reveals Wednesday Addams (performed by Jenna Ortega) during one of her most harrowing psychic visions yet.

She sees her best good friend and roommate Enid Sinclair’s (Emma Myers) grave, and even worse, it seems to be Wednesday’s fault.

“Enid dies, and it’s all my fault,” she is heard saying. With Enid’s destiny hanging in the stability, Wednesday should race against the clock to defend her.

Following the heartbreaking trailer, fans have taken to Reddit to share their theories on whether or not Enid actually will die.

Mishtimihu believes Wednesday’s inside data about Enid’s future will “really mess with her” and the pair will drift aside as a end result.

They defined: “My theory is that she gets this vision early in the season and it really messes with her. She doesn’t tell Enid right away because she’s scared and trying to figure it out on her own. She starts pulling away, thinking maybe she’s the cause of Enid’s future death.

“Enid notices. She was excited to see Wednesday after the break, but Wednesday acts distant and cold. Feeling rejected and confused, Enid begins getting nearer to Bruno, who’s just there for her. And yeah, he seems to be a lot like Wednesday, which makes the entire state of affairs more sophisticated.

“Eventually, probably near the end of Part 1, they have a fight. Enid calls her out for shutting her out. And that’s when Wednesday finally tells her about the vision. Maybe not even on purpose, she just blurts it out during the argument. Something like, ‘I saw your grave. I thought I’d get you killed if I stayed close’.

“Enid’s harm. Not just about the imaginative and prescient, but because Wednesday didn’t trust her with it sooner. She walks away. Then the half ends on a cliffhanger, presumably with one thing off about Bruno that raises questions.”

ItsThe_____ForMe suggested Enid’s fate is likely to be the cliffhanger between parts one and two of the season.

It has been suggested the black tears vision deals with emotions, adding: “As for Enid, if she passes away it will all be Wednesday’s fault trigger Wednesday is the one who cracks instances and solves mysteries and she drags Enid. I believe that’s why she cries black tears for Enid.”
