Republican Senator Rand Paul has hinted that former First Lady Jill Biden and former Coronavirus activity pressure head Anthony Fauci could be investigated for their alleged use of the autopen during former President Joe Biden‘s time period in workplace.
The surprising information comes after President Donald Trump ordered the probe after railing against his predecessor for utilizing the autopen to pardon numerous people during his previous few months in workplace. “So I think the way the best way to sort this out is you have to go to court,” the Kentucky senator stated. “And I think the easiest way to get this into court is they should indict Anthony Fauci for lying to Congress, and he will make a defense that he’s been pardoned.”
While wrapping up his appearance, Paul also claimed that the autopen was not used to pardon Biden’s son, Hunter. “I think there is a question whether these pardons are valid,” Paul stated.
“Interestingly, when he had to do the pardon for his son, he didn’t take any chances by running it for the auto pen,” Paul added.”The pardon for Hunter Biden for any crimes committed over the last 10 years, any crimes, was done by personal hand signature by Biden, not the autopen.”
