Woke Arizona Lawmaker Feels the Heat From DHS

Not that it wasn’t already a well-established fact, but Democrat lawmakers at the state stage are oftentimes just as fanatical as, if not more so than, the ones you will discover in Congress.

For occasion, there are, of course, the Democrats in the Texas state legislature, many of who who fled the state over the weekend in response to a redistricting dispute, crying about how “democracy was at stake” over a proposed new map that might probably internet Republicans 4 to 5 more seats in the U.S. House if authorized.

But where did they go? The Democrat-run states of Illinois and New York, both of which have turned gerrymandering into an artwork kind over the last a number of a long time, all supposedly in the identify of “democracy.”

There are also those who are overtly and actively making an attempt to thwart immigration law enforcement brokers, like Rhode Island state lawmaker Enrique Sanchez (D), who is now on DHS’ radar in a big means after showing to threaten ICE brokers in a latest X posting.

The latest Democrat state lawmaker to goal ICE is Arizona state Sen. Analise Ortiz, who was caught sharing data about immigration sweeps in her group on Instagram:

When DHS was alerted to this data, spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin went off, and famous that Ortiz’s actions could quantity to obstruction of justice:

“Arizona state Senator Analise Ortiz is siding with vicious cartels, human traffickers, and violent criminals over American citizens,” said McLaughlin.

At the state stage, state Sen. Jake Hoffman (R) is getting ready to file an ethics criticism and is looking for Ortiz to be expelled over her continued defiance (language warning):

Ortiz has also been referred for investigation to the US Attorney for the District of Arizona:

Not surprisingly, U.S. Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) has endorsed Ortiz’s actions:

Arizona’s Democrat attorney common, Kris Mayes, and other defenders of Ortiz are also attempting to make this a free speech issue, besides, as Republican state Rep. John Gillette identified, that’s not precisely the case:

One wonders if Mayes would still be touting Ortiz’s alleged “free speech rights” to out ICE brokers and their places if, God forbid, one of the brokers acquired damage or killed as a end result of Ortiz’s marketing campaign?
