Melania Trump reportedly penned an emotional plea to Russian President Vladimir Putin, beseeching him to safeguard kids and “restore their melodic laughter.”

The so-called “peace letter” was allegedly hand-delivered to Putin by President Donald Trump prior to their summit in Alaska on Friday, which concluded prematurely as a disheartened Trump appeared unable to attain a definitive settlement on a path to ending the warfare with Ukraine.

“Dear President Putin,” the letter begins, as obtained by Fox News Digital. “Every child shares the same quiet dreams in their heart, whether born randomly into a nation’s rustic countryside or a magnificent city-center. They dream of love, possibility, and safety from danger.

“As mother and father, it’s our responsibility to nurture the next technology’s hope,” the first lady wrote. “As leaders, the duty to maintain our youngsters extends past the consolation of a few.

“Undeniably, we must strive to paint a dignity-filled world for all-so that every soul may wake to peace, and so that the future itself is perfectly guarded,” the letter reads. “A simple yet profound concept, Mr. Putin, as I am sure you agree, is that each generation’s descendants begin their lives with a purity-an innocence which stands above geography, government, and ideology.”

“Yet, in today’s world, some children are forced to carry a quiet laughter, untouched by the darkness around them-a silent defiance against the forces that can potentially claim their future,” she penned.

“Mr. Putin, you can singlehandedly restore their melodic laughter,” the first woman wrote. “In defending the innocence of these kids, you’ll do more than serve Russia alone-you serve humanity itself.

“Such a daring thought transcends all human division, and you, Mr. Putin, are match to implement this imaginative and prescient with a stroke of the pen today. It is time.”
