The Democratic Party and California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s press workplace’s X accounts joined the backlash against Cracker Barrel after it launched its new text-only brand earlier this week.
The company unveiled the new brand on Tuesday as half of its new branding marketing campaign for the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store eating places. The marketing campaign eradicated the image of a man resting on a barrel in favor of a text-only brand for the first time since 1977.
