DWTS fans fume over pros appearance on show after | TV Shows
As Dancing with the Stars fans wait to see if some rumored potential castings come to fruition on the ABC show, others are now fuming following the news that a controversial professional has truly been employed for Season 34–despite earlier studies he was “fired.”
Season 34 is just weeks away, and fans will formally study the full solid on Good Morning America on September 3–but until then, the show is trying to keep the solid of celebrities and pros shrouded in thriller.
However, it has now been reported that one professional, who had beforehand said he was “fired” from the show and not requested back, is definitely half of the solid. Fans aren’t happy with the news following the affirmation of extra pros, leaving other fan favorites without a job for the new season.
The professional in query, who has left fans fuming, has been none other than Gleb Savchenko.
The dancer, 41, was seen at the show’s studios and heading to a rehearsal, seemingly cementing his standing in the solid.
Gleb was seemingly noticed arriving at the show’s studio alongside other pros–all of whom wore shields to cowl their faces in an attempt to conceal their identities–but clips posted by movie star reporter and photographer Melanie Miller on TikTok appeared to reveal a number of of the pros who have been arriving at the studio.
One clip confirmed two males–recognized as Brandon Armstrong and Gleb, as they exited parked automobiles and walked in direction of the studio.
One of the boys, carrying a gray t-shirt, appeared to have a comparable construct to Savchenko.
The recognizing got here after Kristyn Burtt, who is understood for her DWTS spoilers, revealing on TikTok that Gleb was in fact coming back to the show in a shock twist.
“I promised you that secret surprise twist, because if there’s anything I’ve learned in covering Dancing With the Stars preseason all of these years, is that you should expect the unexpected,” she said. “You can be in and then out, you can be out and then in. Yes, that is the official announcement, Gleb Savchenko is on the pro roster for Season 34.”
“…That is what I always say, because there are so many times we have seen celebrities sign on, drop out, be tied up in contract negotiations, this is very, very typical for Dancing With the Stars at this time of year,” she continued. “There’s a little bit of volatility, sometimes pros are left in limbo, sometimes people think that they don’t have a job, and then guess what? They suddenly do because they are needed.”
However, many fans have been less than impressed by the announcement, expressing their disappointment in the feedback part of Burtt’s video.
“I fear they missed the part where a lot of us were okay with him not being on lol,” one individual said.
The news of Gleb’s return comes on the heels of him hinting on social media that he had been let go from the show–and attributed his alleged firing to his ex-girlfriend and Season 33 associate, Brooks Nader.
Not long after, it was reported that Mark Ballas was returning to the show as effectively, leaving less room on the roster for other pros.
It was also revealed that the show had employed a new male dancer as a professional. The show was reported to have employed Jan Ravnik, a former dancer from Taylor Swift’s Eras tour.
Dancing With the Stars Season 34 premieres September 16 on ABC and Disney+.
