Bridgerton has captured audiences’ hearts since its debut on Christmas Day 5 years in the past.

However, followers of the period drama that has swept the globe could need to put together for its eventual conclusion, as the collection is deliberate to wrap up after eight seasons.

Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes has confirmed that Bridgerton will span precisely eight seasons in complete.

The mastermind behind the show, working alongside her artistic staff, remodeled Julia Quinn’s novels into this acclaimed drama collection.

Season 4 will draw from Quinn’s third e book, An Offer From A Gentleman, centering completely on Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson.

Fans should not despair immediately, though, as rumors counsel potential spin-off collection are in development, stories the Mirror. The 2023 prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story already exists within this universe.

Discussing the broader Bridgerton world, Shonda added, “I didn’t see it as a romance. It was more of a workplace drama.

“The ladies do not have energy in other areas of their lives, the facility is in how they marry, so it turns into a office.”

Shonda added, “And that’s where the drama is. More importantly, I might see myself in them.

“If a Black woman in 21st century America can see herself in regency England, it’s a good story.”

An air date for the fourth season of the favored TV collection hasn’t been confirmed yet, though hypothesis suggests it’ll debut next yr.
