The third week of this season Dana White’s Contender Series befell on Tuesday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The five-bout combat card featured 10 hopefuls making an attempt to combat their method to a UFC contract.
The combat card was headlined by a middleweight bout between Ryan Gandra and Trent Miller. Gandra stopped Miller with punches halfway through the opening spherical. The win and efficiency was enough to earn Gandra a contract.
All 5 winners from the combat card acquired UFC contracts. Joining Gandra was Marcio Barbosa, Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev, Manoel Sousa, and Donte Johnson.
