George Clooney drops out of Venice Film Festival…

George Clooney has fallen in poor health during the Venice Film Festival.

The actor, 64, missed two occasions at the annual Italian competition on Wednesday and one on Thursday due to health points.

“George has been diagnosed with a sinus infection and is under doctors orders to cut back on his activities today,” the rep told The Post Thursday.

On Thursday, he missed the movie’s official press convention.

“Even movie stars get sick!” Baumbach, 55, said with a chuckle at the star of the press convention, per Variety. The director participated in the press convention with stars Sandler, Dern, Billy Crudup and Emily Mortimer.

Clooney is reportedly anticipated to be at the movie’s crimson carpet world premiere Thursday night time.

Earlier on Thursday, Clooney was seen in Lake Cuomo with his spouse, Amal Clooney, 47, their twins Ella and Alexander, 8, and the remainder of the “Jay Kelly” staff. The group departed Villa Olendra by boat for a energetic lunch at Villa d’Este before heading to the Venice Film Festival.

In “Jay Kelly,” Clooney performs an ageing film star who embarks on a profound journey in Europe with his supervisor (Sandler). The movie was written by Baumbach and Mortimer, 53.

In an Aug. 4 interview with Vanity Fair, Clooney revealed that he dedicated to the project less than 24 hours after he acquired the screenplay.

“I literally said to him, ‘Noah, look, I love the script. I love you as a director, but I’m 63 years old, dude—I can’t do 50 takes,’” Clooney shared. “‘I don’t have it in me. I’ve got the acting range from A to B.’”

Clooney also said that he might relate to his character in “Jay Kelly.”

“When you’re an actor in my position, at my age, finding roles like this aren’t all that common,” he explained. “If you can’t make peace with aging, then you’ve got to get out of the business and just disappear. I’m now the guy that, when I go running after a bad guy, it’s funny—it’s not suspenseful. That’s okay. I embrace all of that.”

“Jay Kelly” comes out Nov. 14 on Netflix.
