Dancing With the Stars has been teased as bringing an “epic” thirty fourth season to followers as it celebrates 20 years on tv–and the show’s fashionable former host is now including to hypothesis he could come back as half of the celebration.

“I’m going full Ringo: peace and love. I have great fondness for the impact that DWTS had on my career and the friendships that resulted,” he added.

He also reiterated a bombshell that he revealed since his departure from the show, where he admitted he had deliberate to go away after Season 30, when his contract initially was set to end, and that he was glad he didn’t end out the seasons he missed, due to the COVID restrictions that led them to have little interplay between forged members and no live viewers.

“The truth of it is, my plan was to leave after Season 30. As circumstances played out, I left two seasons before. But those seasons were during COVID, so that would’ve been my last two–I would’ve hated them. Everything I loved about the show, the camaraderie, hanging out–none of that would’ve been available. I’m glad it didn’t end that way. And not surprisingly, the showrunner that I locked horns with didn’t last much longer anyway,” he said.

Following Bergern and Andrews’ ouster, they have been changed with Tyra Banks, who hosted the show solo for Seasons 29 and 30.

Alfonso Ribeiro joined Banks in Season 31, which served as Banks’ remaining one.

After her departure, Ribero grew to become the show’s main host, with Julianne Hough filling in as his co-host.
