Five-Year-Old Florida Boy Decides to Eat Mor

There are no Chick-fil-A eating places in Alaska, and if there have been, they might most likely be in Anchorage, a metropolis we keep away from if at all doable. But I’ve eaten Chick-fil-A’s choices. When we lived in the Denver metro space, we sometimes picked up a big tray of their chicken strips to take home for supper, and their chicken sandwiches are fairly good. 

So, when a five-year-old Florida youth woke up one morning and determined he needed a Chick-fil-A breakfast, I can variety of sympathize. They’re fairly good. The shocking bit comes when we uncover that this intrepid Florida teenager undertook this as a solo mission.

A hungry 5-year-old Florida boy craving Chick-fil-A snuck out of his home one morning this summer time to stroll to the favored fast-food restaurant by himself, prompting a go to from the police while he munched on his food.

The boy, recognized as William, was seen eating a breakfast sandwich in a sales space next to a Chick-fil-A supervisor when deputies from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirmed up.

“Are you going to take me to jail?” he requested the officers, according to bodycam footage.

The younger fellow appeared to be having fun with his breakfast, still in his pajamas, but then, the law confirmed up.

Now, I like a good breakfast sandwich as a lot as anybody, but the lawmen had tasks. They took William home, only to uncover that his escape from his mother and father’ property was worthy of a younger Houdini.

William managed to depart his home while his mother and father slept. He then squeezed through the fence that surrounds the property and walked down the road for breakfast alone, police said.

After eating, police put the boy in a squad car, and with William’s help, have been ready to find his home, to the shock of his mother and father, who hadn’t realized he was gone.

“It’s kind of scary, actually, because we didn’t realize what was going on until after,” his mom, Victoria, said during a reunion with employees and officers at the restaurant.

“I know he knows how to get to Chick-fil-A because we walk there,” she said. “I never would’ve expected him to come down here on his own in the morning before anyone else in the house was up.”

The boy’s father, recognized as Phil, said his son “had an adventure.”

That a lot is for certain.

Some people might strive to put some onus on little William’s mother and father for this, but I’m not among them. I feel William did one thing that children do, even to the very best of mother and father – he threw them for a loop by doing one thing fully sudden. A five-year-old does not have the best judgment in the world, which might be why we do not allow them to vote (but do not point out that to Democrats, because they’re going to assume it is a effective thought), and sometimes, when they determine they need one thing, they need it proper now.

The one query that is not answered is how William paid for his sandwich. Of course, when a child that little wanders into the Chick-fil-A, I would not be a bit shocked if the store’s supervisor would not be keen to give him one on the home, to keep him comfortable until the cops confirmed up.

To William’s mother and father, I can only say, “He seems to be a smart one, so watch out, because he’ll probably toss you a few more surprises before he’s 18.” And if William have been anyplace close to us, I feel I’d drop by and give him a few Chick-fil-A sandwiches, to keep him at home for a while, so he will not ship his mother and father into conniptions again too soon.
