ABC TV Station in Sacramento Hit by Gunfire, One

We’ve been overlaying the furor on the left over the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s show. Kimmel made feedback on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” implying that the suspect in the Charlie Kirk killing was MAGA, and claiming MAGA was attempting to capitalize on Kirk’s homicide. 

ABC “indefinitely preempted” Kimmel’s show on Wednesday, when many of their affiliate stations determined not to run the show. 

Folks on the left freaked out, claiming that this was President Donald Trump shutting down free speech. They appeared more upset about the Kimmel suspension than about the killing of Charlie Kirk. However, the powers that be pulled the show because they have been frightened that Kimmel was about to make issues worse by hitting at MAGA even more in his next show.

Some weren’t comfortable about it and protested at ABC TV stations, including one in Sacramento, California, on Thursday. They had indicators, including one calling Trump “Hitler” and a “fascist enabler.” They also said “free speech is a right,” not understanding that yes, personal firms can determine to pull a show, and that is not a violation of free speech.  

Now, just in the future later, there’s been a drive-by taking pictures through a station window that faces the road. 

There have been at least three bullets fired. Thankfully, no one was injured; there have been no people inside the building at the time, according to the police. 

‘We have not had a lot of assaults on our media companions, and we would like to keep it that means,’ Officer Anthony Gamble of the Sacramento Police Department said. 

‘To those that could have been accountable for this, and I hope you see this, we’re not going to stop wanting for you.  This is unacceptable conduct. It’s not going to be tolerated in Sacramento’, he added.

The gunfire was reported around 1:30 p.m., just 24 hours after around 15 people gathered exterior ABC10 (KXTV) to protest the suspension of Kimmel.  [….]

‘All of our workers are protected and unhurt,’ Tegna, KXTV’s mum or dad company, spokesperson Molly McMahon said. 

The station said they have been absolutely cooperating with police, and taking “additional measures” to guarantee the security of their workers. 

Police do not know yet whether or not it was random or focused, or if it was associated to the Kimmel controversy. There’s been no data on a suspect yet. 

As we reported earlier, some on the left have been calling for a boycott of ABC and Disney.

Every major expertise that works for ABC and Disney ought to refuse to show up for work until Jimmy Kimmel is reinstated.

Marvel motion pictures need to shutdown. Ditto the sitcoms.

Collective boycott.

I do not know what the boycotters assume they’ll obtain with this. But the scores have already been a big indication that people do not care for the show. And finally, it is always about a business choice.
