During the investigation, Becerra told OSC that his remarks have been “off-the-cuff,” and mirrored his “long-standing personal relationship” with Padilla. For the voting half of his assertion, Becerra said, “I don’t believe I thought of that as conveying anything more than what I as a responsible citizen would be doing in the near future.” 

OSC was not swayed.

“Becerra’s proffered explanations do not serve to mitigate the issuance of this report to the president,” the report said. The workplace also famous Becerra has acquired “ample information” on the Hatch Act since he got here into workplace.

In the meantime, Senate Democrats continue their fishing expeditions, trying for a crime that they’ll pin on the Trump administration. One would suppose they’d have realized by now, but that could be an excessive amount of like proper.
