Antiques Roadshow followers are only just discovering a “forgotten” BBC show that’s “just as good” as the appraisal show helmed by Fiona Bruce. Fans of reveals like Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Cash in the Attic have unearthed an “underrated” antiques recreation show hosted by TV royalty, Fern Britton.

The collection is For What It’s Worth, initially airing on BBC One in 2016. It ran for two collection, welcoming three pairs of contestants who have been tasked with figuring out which antiques have been price a fortune and which have been price less than £10. With £2,500 up for grabs per genuine merchandise, there was loads to play for.

She added: “I’ve always been careful with money […] my personal goal is to get to my old age still being able to afford a shandy, take the kids out to lunch, have my hair done and indulge in the occasional pedicure.”
