Patrick Reed has disclosed he is actively pursuing a contract extension with LIV Golf as questions swirl around his skilled future.

“It’s enjoyable. I’m at the age where I can still do it, we’re younger enough to have the ability to journey around the world. It’s only going to get tougher as you grow old and older, so I’ve loved it, I’ve cherished it. I look ahead to getting back on the market and taking part in, but actually, it is the locations like this that are particular.”

Reed is currently defending his LINK Hong Open title he won last year. He will then head to Dubai to compete in the DP World Tour Playoffs, where Reed will wrap up his 2025 schedule with a 31st start.

Reed also had high praise for the DP World Tour: “I’m still a full member and I’m an honorary lifetime member. I’m taking part in next week at Abu Dhabi and the next week in Dubai, so that’ll be 10 occasions I’ll play this yr on their tour.
