Host Bradley Walsh launched contestants Jackson from Ipswich, Shannon from Falkirk, Anne from Bristol and James from Scunthorpe, who had been battling quiz grasp Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha for 1000’s of kilos.

He was rapidly joined by Shannon, who impressed viewers by holding her nerve and banking another £5,000, bringing the workforce complete to £11,000.

But issues took a downturn when Anne stepped up. After incomes just £2,000 in her money builder, she opted for the low offer of £200 in a bid to keep in the sport — a transfer that didn’t repay.

Chaser Paul made fast work of her questions and despatched her home empty-handed, cutting the workforce back down to two.
