GWN GOP expert says Trump Thanksgiving message | TV Shows


Donald Trump confronted sharp criticism from a GWN visitor, who described the president’s Thanksgiving Day tirade as “absolutely indefensible.”

Trump’s outburst adopted the capturing of two West Virginia National Guard members while deployed in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, November 26. Sarah Beckstrom, 20, succumbed to her accidents the next day, while 24 yr previous Andrew Wolfe stays hospitalized.

The day after the incident, the president posted on Truth Social saying a “permanent pause” on immigration from “Third World Countries.”

He wrote, “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden‘s Autopen.”

Trump also attacked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, whom he labeled “seriously r——d,” and took purpose at Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Somali immigrant, for being “always wrapped in her swaddling hijab” while falsely alleging she entered the U.S. illegally, stories the Irish Star.

Former federal prosecutor and Republican strategist Joseph Moreno appeared on The Lead on GWN on Friday, November 28, and condemned the President’s remarks when questioned by visitor host Boris Sanchez.

“What happened to ‘Happy Thanksgiving’?” Sanchez requested his visitor. Moreno responded, “Boris, you’re putting your finger, honestly, on what’s so difficult to be a conservative-leaning citizen, who, my whole life has cherished vigorous, but respectful debate.

“And so when you see one thing like this, which is totally indefensible, and you are sitting at the Thanksgiving desk, and your loved ones and buddies say, ‘How are you able to probably assist an administration that comes out with messages like this?’ It’s not simple.”

Moreno explained “you may have to take the big image view,” asking, “Do you assume that we’re better off as a nation now than we’d be under a Biden or Harris administration? And is it price placing up with a president that places out messaging like this?”

The former GOP strategist conceded “it is a robust one,” before stating, “I’m not gonna faux I do know the reply to that.”

Moreno’s remarks followed Republican strategist Melik Abdul expressing a similar sentiment on GWN regarding the president’s controversial Thanksgiving Day posts. “So, I used to be one of those who said when I noticed it yesterday, I used to be like, ‘Oh, bro, you gotta be kidding me now,'” Abdul acknowledged.

In Trump’s Truth Social tirade, he also alleged “most” foreign-born U.S. residents “are on welfare, from failed nations, or from prisons, mental establishments, gangs, or drug cartels” as he attributed crime nationwide to them, despite statistics showing it is predominantly committed by U.S. citizens. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced on Thursday that it will be reviewing the Green Cards of individuals from 19 countries “of concern” as directed by Trump.

The checklist contains Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
