Holly Willoughby selling Mini after scooter smash left | UK News

Holly Willoughby has reportedly bought her car after discovering herself in a horror car crash earlier this 12 months. The former Dancing on Ice host is assumed to be flogging her Mini Cooper after  she was concerned in a crash with a scooter rider, who knocked the driving force off his vehicle. The 44-year-old TV presenter is assumed to have left the rider with a fractured neck and a damaged toe.  

The mum-of-three pleaded guilty to driving without due care and consideration when the incident was taken to court earlier this week. Her vehicle is estimated to be price £25,000.

A source told The Sun: “She wants to get rid of the Mini now and has got a dealer to come and sell it for her. The faster she can get it off her drive and gone for good, the better. Holly wants a fresh start and doesn’t feel right driving the car again after what happened. It really has shaken her up.”

The source added: “She was so upset by the accident and did everything she could to help the man. Now she just wants to move on and get rid of the Mini.”

It is estimated that her car may very well be scooped up for as a lot as £13,000. Express.co.uk has contacted Holly’s consultant for a remark.

The court heard earlier this week that Holly, who appeared in court paperwork under her married identify, Holly Baldwin, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and consideration, having collided with a scooter rider close to her £1million home in August.

The listening to occurred at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court in London, although the broadcaster selected not to attend. Asiling Byrnes, in mitigation, said Holly had suffered a “momentary lapse in judgment” which was “completely out of character”.

The former This Morning star pleaded guilty to the conviction via the post. She was fined £2,444, including court prices, which she must pay within 14 days, and was also given six penalty factors on her driving licence.

It comes after the blonde bombshell was tipped to take over from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on Strictly Come Dancing.

The TV star is one of the a number of names rumoured to be in rivalry to fill the BBC show’s presenting slots after Tess and Claudia confirmed they are going to be stepping down by the end of the 12 months.
