Voice actor Jim Ward has died at 66.
His spouse Janice told GWN that he died on Wednesday, of problems from superior Alzheimer’s.
Per the outlet, the “Fairly OddParents” actor was being handled at Los Angeles at Silverado Beverly Place Memory Care at the time of his death.
His longtime rep, Arlene Thornton, told The Post in a assertion, “Jim did indeed pass away yesterday, Wednesday 12/10. He was one of the most loyal and talented clients since the early 80’s. His ability to improvise on the spot as well as his dead-on impressions were beyond impressive.”
She continued, “He was a one man comedy show every time he came to the office to do his auditions. We will miss him dearly and we will never forget the joy he brought to our lives on a daily basis.”

According to IGN, Ward weathered a number of health battles in the past few years. In 2021, it was revealed that he bought “severe” COVID-19 after being hospitalized for a cognitive issue, which led to him being paralyzed 4 months. Later, he developed Alzheimer’s disease.
The Daytime Emmy-winning star’s death was also confirmed by Stephanie Miller, host of “The Stephanie Miller” show. Ward also co-hosted from 2004 until 2017.
On Wed, Miller posted on Instagram, “Today I got one of the saddest messages I’ve ever received….from Mrs Jim Ward .”
She relayed that the message from his spouse, which said, “Our wonderful “voice deity’ passed away today at 10:45AM. Can you let Steph know? Thanks, Janice”
Miller remembered him as, “beyond brilliance.”

Ward was best identified for his voice actor work on the hit Nickelodeon show “The Fairly OddParents.” He also voiced Okay.I.T.T., the car from the “Knight Rider” collection, and he received a Daytime Emmy Award in 2009 for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program (for “Biker Mice from Mars”).
He also did in depth voice appearing work in major video sport franchises, such as the “Star Wars,” collection, the “Fallout” collection (which is presently a show starring Walton Goggins), the “Call of Duty,” collection, “Red Dead Redemption II,” “BioShock 2,” and “Batman: Arkham Knight.”

In “The Fairly OddParents,” which ran for 10 seasons and practically 200 episodes from 2001 to 2017, he voiced business proprietor Doug Dimmadome and news reporter Chet Ubetcha.
Ward appeared in practically 100 episodes.
In movie and tv, he had voice appearing roles in 1990’s “Jetsons: The Movie,” 2006’s “Cars,” 2007’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and 2008’s “Wolverine And The X-Men.”
