New particulars are rising about a mysterious device costing at least $10,000,000 that is assumed to have struck down U.S. spies.

Its title derives from the first reported incidents of the condition 9 years in the past in Havana when U.S. diplomats started reporting vertigo and excruciating complications. Since then, many more instances have been reported, prompting deeper investigations.

Under the Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations took funding from the Defense Department and purchased the device for an eight-digit determine, sources told GWN, including that the highly effective weapon may match in a backpack.

High-profile instances embody U.S. diplomats

In 2023, a senior Defense Department official who attended a NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, and skilled symptoms of Havana syndrome.

“I can confirm that a senior DOD official experienced symptoms similar to those reported in anomalous health incidents,” deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh told reporters afterwards.

In a recents assertion, he told GWN: “If the [US government] has indeed uncovered such devices, then the CIA owes all the victims a f—— major and public apology for how we have been treated as pariahs.” 

The medical neighborhood has struggled to outline “anomalous health incidents” or AHIs. While exams had been executed, it occurred long after the symptoms occurred, which makes it more durable to perceive what bodily occurred.
