It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover gives…
Colleen Hoover has shared a welcome health update after revealing her surprising cancer diagnosis.
The “It Ends With Us” author, 46, took to social media over the weekend to make clear that while she was recognized with an unspecified kind of cancer last yr, it has since gone into remission.
“Just clarification because of some misleading clickbait making it sound like I’m on my deathbed or something, but I do not have cancer anymore,” the best-selling author shared on Facebook on Friday.

“I was diagnosed sometime last year, had surgery that was successful, just finished radiation yesterday,” she added. “I am done and good and all is well and has been well. My doctors doctored. Hell yeah.”
Hoover first hinted at her cancer diagnosis back in October when she announced that she would miss the premiere of “Regretting You,” the 2025 movie adaptation of her 2019 novel, because she was having “an unavoidable surgery.”
“I’ll live vicariously through you guys,” she said at the time. “So sad to miss this movie release and premiere, but so grateful to all the actors and the team who put this together.”

Hoover publicly announced her cancer diagnosis in a Facebook post shared by content creator Katyinkc two months later.
The well-known author said that she started experiencing “recurring health issues” while in Canada on the set of the upcoming movie adaptation of her e book “Reminders of Him.”
She finally “put off” the health points “until the movie was finished,” but “when I returned home, I found out I had cancer.”
Hoover added that her cancer had been “removed through surgery,” and that while she needed to bear radiation remedies, she didn’t need to obtain chemotherapy.

“So while it felt huge and scary for a bit, and I had to miss out on the ‘Regretting You’ premiere and some other important career and personal moment, I just wasn’t ready to share with anyone until I knew what the outcome would be,” she shared in December.
The “Slammed” author returned to Facebook earlier this month to share another health update relating to her cancer journey. She revealed that her cancer didn’t come from household genes, HPV or extreme hormones.
“This means it was more than likely environmental/lifestyle, which is lack of exercise, poor diet and stress,” Hoover explained. “I’m happy and grateful to be alive, but I hate vegetables. I hate when I have to get off the couch. I hate sweating. I hate when science is right.”
Hoover took to social media once more to reveal that she was present process her “second to last day of radiation” at Texas Oncology on Jan. 12.

“I wish I could blame my hair and facial expressions on [Texas Oncology], but they’ve been great,” she wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a photograph of herself in a hospital robe. “Hope you never need them, but highly recommend them.”
The Post has reached out to Hoover’s rep for remark.
Hoover, meanwhile, has also made latest headlines amid the ugly legal battle between “It Ends With Us” co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Lively, 38, sued Baldoni for alleged inappropriate harassment and for allegedly orchestrating a retaliatory public smear marketing campaign against her shortly after the movie was launched in Aug. 2024.
Baldoni, 41, countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, alleging defamation, extortion and more. However, the director’s $400 million lawsuit has since been dismissed by a decide.
Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni is presently scheduled to go to trial in May.

Hoover went on to call Lively and Baldoni’s legal battle both “unfortunate” and “disappointing” during an interview with Elle in December.
The author added that she will no longer “recommend” her 2016 bestseller because of the continuing controversy.
“I feel like [the lawsuit] has overshadowed it,” Hoover explained last month. “I’m almost embarrassed to say I wrote it. When people ask what I do, I’m just like, ‘I’m a writer. Please don’t ask me what I wrote.’”
