In a Truth Social post on Monday night, Trump said he spoke instantly with NATO management and doubled down on his declare that U.S. control of Greenland is a non-negotiable. The president also appeared to have leaked a textual content message exchange with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that he had a “very good telephone call” with Secretary General of NATO Mark Rutte about Greenland. “I agreed to a meeting of the various parties in Davos, Switzerland,” said Trump.
“As I expressed to everyone, very plainly, Greenland is imperative for National and World Security,” he wrote. “There can be no going back – on that, everyone agrees!”
Trump then continued to body U.S. army dominance as the only guarantor of global stability. “The United States of America is the most powerful Country anywhere on the Globe, by far,” he wrote. “Much of the reason for this is a rebuilding of our Military during my First Term, which rebuilding continues at even more expedited pace.”
Trump ended the post with the assertion that American strength is equal to peace. “We are the only POWER that can ensure PEACE throughout the World — And it is done, quite simply, through STRENGTH!”
