Danish troops have arrived in Greenland as they put together for a potential army deployment amid President Donald Trump’s quest for the territory. 

The contemporary batch of troopers was described as a “substantial improvement” by Danish broadcaster TV 2. Troops arrived late on Monday at Greenland’s main worldwide airport, and a second batch is anticipated in the western half of the area in the approaching days.

Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen did not rule out the chance of the U.S. utilizing army drive. “It is not likely that military force will be used, but it is not ruled out. The messages show Macron searching for common ground on other global points while questioning Trump’s curiosity in Greenland. “From President Macron to President Trump My friend, We are totally in line on Syria. We can do great things on Iran I do not understand what you are doing on Greenland,” Macron wrote.

Macron proposed an pressing diplomatic effort to diffuse tensions. “Let us try to build great things: i can set up a G7 meeting after Davos in Paris on Thursday afternoon,” he said.

“I can invite the Ukrainians, the Danish, the Syrians and the Russians in the margins let us have a dinner together in Paris together on Thursday before you go back to the U.S. Emmanuel.”

Trump wrote on Truth Social that he had a “very good telephone call” with Secretary General of NATO Mark Rutte about Greenland. “I agreed to a meeting of the various parties in Davos, Switzerland,” said Trump.

“As I expressed to everyone, very plainly, Greenland is imperative for National and World Security,” he wrote. “There can be no going back – on that, everyone agrees!”

Trump then continued to body U.S. army dominance as the only guarantor of global stability. “The United States of America is the most powerful Country anywhere on the Globe, by far,” he wrote. “Much of the reason for this is a rebuilding of our Military during my First Term, which rebuilding continues at even more expedited pace.”
