Tracker fans thrilled as series renewal confirmed | TV Shows

CBS has announced which of its series has been renewed for the 2026–2027 broadcast season.

As of the latest update, the community has made the choice to renew 10 more series for the upcoming yr. At the top of that record is the motion series Tracker, which is now confirmed for a fourth season. 

Viewers have been elated by the news, with one X consumer writing, “Tracker is renewed for season four… yay,” and another including, “TRACKER renewed for a fourth season! Justin Hartley stays working! I wish only the best things for my Green Arrow,” referencing the lead star’s function in the 2001 drama series Smallville.

The 2024 drama series follows Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) as he makes use of his survivalist instincts to discover the lacking and accumulate rewards.

The IMDb synopsis reads, “Colter Shaw travels the country in his old-school RV, helping police and private citizens solve crimes and locate missing persons — until his latest case changes everything.”

Justin is joined on-screen by Fiona Rene, Jensen Ackles, and Abbey McEnany among others.

The last episode of last season aired just a month in the past. Just months before the Season 3 premiere, Justin hinted Tracker wasn’t going wherever as the show had “many more stories to tell.”

While talking to US Weekly in April 2025, he admitted, “We have a couple of ideas.

“One of these is that Colter has all of these skills. He’s a survivalist and he knows how to be alone, and he knows how to find people and he’s gifted in that regard. He’s a great listener. But it would be interesting, I think, to see him be set up,” he shared. “I’d love to have all that tie into the family background, the government. So, we’ll see. We’ve been kicking that idea around.”

Referencing Season 4’s plot, he said, “We have the underlying theme of what we’re going to do next year, while not really changing the direction of where our story is going.”

Along with the motion series, a number of other exhibits have been renewed including Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Matlock, Elsbeth, Fire Counrty, NCIS, NCIS:Origins, NICS: Sydney, Survivor and The Amazing Race.

Before CBS’ latest announcement, only six exhibits had been renewed, including Boston Blue, Sheriff Country, FBI and Ghosts.

Many fans are still awaiting their favourite exhibits to be renewed. On X, one said, “Uh Big Brother?!?!?!?!

Another added, “Watson better be on this f—ing list!”

CBS has not announced Big Brother or Watson has been cancelled just yet.
