Fox News slams YouTubers for their fake news on | TV Shows

Nancy Guthrie’s relations, including her well-known daughter Savannah and her other youngsters, should not potential suspects in the 84-year-old’s disappearance.

As of now, 15 days have handed since Nancy was reported lacking in Arizona on February 1. Law enforcement indicated that the mom of the Today Show host was doubtless kidnapped. Traces of blood found on her entrance porch have been subsequently confirmed through testing to belong to Nancy.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who is cooperating with the FBI, is in charge of the investigation. This comes after an ex-FBI agent revealed the hidden codeword that Savannah used in her message to the abductors.

On February 16, Sheriff Nanos formally cleared the Guthrie household, including the NBC star, as potential suspects in the case. 

During Fox News‘ broadcast of The Will Cain Show on the same day, host Cain, 50, said, “We told you that the Guthrie family has been cleared as potential suspects of Nancy, per Pima County Sheriff.”

Chief correspondent for Fox News Channel, Jonathan Hunt, then added, “Our viewers might have been aware of this online speculation about family members over the past couple of weeks.

“I need to emphasize that it’s not hypothesis that has ever made it on air on Fox. As far as I’m conscious, any mainstream media.

“But various bloggers, including a former TV host who now has a YouTube channel, have talked about family members, even named them, in particular one as a suspect,” Hunt slammed.

“Now the sheriff is putting that to bed once and for all,” he closed.

This got here after Sheriff Nanos launched an online assertion on X about the investigation. Not only did he clear the Guthrie household as potential suspects, but Nanos also urged the media to pivot away from the hypothesis. 

“To be clear…the Guthrie family – to include all siblings and spouses – has been cleared as possible suspects in this case,” he wrote.

“The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious, and are victims in this case.

“To recommend in any other case shouldn’t be only improper, but it’s also merciless,” the sheriff continued.

“The Guthrie household is victims plain and simple…please, I’m begging you, the media, to honor your occupation and report with some sense of compassion and professionalism,” Nanos finished.

On February 10, the FBI released security footage and images showing a potential suspect approaching Nancy’s front door in the early morning hours of that Sunday, February 1. 

On February 16, a pair of gloves believed to have been worn by Nancy’s alleged abductor was discovered in a field and is currently undergoing DNA analysis.
