Gavin Newsom Files Hurt Feelings Report on Ted

2026 has began off a lot the same means 2025 did among Democrats, with the celebration still desperately looking for an anti-Trump “fighter,” and with some of its self-styled “leaders” testing the waters for a doable 2028 presidential run.

Among them has been Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who deserted his 2026 gubernatorial reelection marketing campaign in January after his abysmal efficiency at the helm of his state amid the widespread fraud allegations and investigations. 

There was also his atrocious mismanagement of the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement operations in the North Star State, where he referred to ICE brokers as Trump’s “modern-day Gestapo” and inspired agitators to observe and movie the officers in the course of their duties in eradicating prison unlawful immigrants off the streets.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has maybe been the most high-profile Democrat brazenly placing out feelers for a potential 2028 run, admitting in October that he was “looking at” the likelihood, though it had been apparent for 4 years or so with his cross-country tours and his visits abroad to set up national and worldwide profiles.

But though Newsom would have a majority of Americans imagine he can leap tall Trump buildings in a single certain, apparently, he isn’t man enough to settle for somebody appropriately describing him as “historically illiterate,” which we realized Monday afternoon via a tweet he wrote complaining that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was supposedly making enjoyable of his dyslexia:

Are you… kidding me? He would not know that somebody being described as “historically illiterate” just isn’t the same as outright accusing somebody of being illiterate?

It’s all Democrats ever do anymore – declare victimhood and file Hurt Feelings Reports, which to them are supposed to be substitutes for substantive debates on the problems.

Relatedly, Cruz himself responded to Newsom by calling him a clown and pointing to the precise argument he (Cruz) was making:

….because you apparently have no thought that Eisenhower federalized the national guard to stop Dem governors from defying federal law.

Specifically, on September 23, 1957, President Eisenhower issued Executive Order 10730, federalizing the Arkansas National Guard & ordering U.S. Army troops (a hundred and first Airborne Div) to Little Rock, Arkansas. This motion broke the blockade by Dem Gov Orval Faubus, permitting the Little Rock Nine to desegregate Central High School.

In any event, methinks the Golden State governor has kind of just confirmed the outdated saying about how it’s “better for people to think you’re a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt,” bless his coronary heart. This was one of those occasions where it may need been clever for once for his even more obnoxious half (Mrs. Newsom) to interrupt him while he was tweeting. But truthfully, I’m kinda glad she did not.
