The PGA Tour shifts to Los Angeles with the Genesis Invitational this weekend at Riviera Country Club.

After transferring to Torrey Pines in San Diego last yr due to close by wildfires, the match is back at its conventional course.

It’s the second straight “Signature Event” week, so it’s not shocking that we’ve got a star-studded discipline teeing off.

Scottie Scheffler, who completed T-4 after a blistering end last week in Pebble Beach, is the overwhelming favourite, sitting around +325 to win at most major sportsbooks.

Plenty of other stars, including Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Xander Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama and last week’s winner, Collin Morikawa, will look to take him down.

Here’s a look at three golfers I’m focusing on for this weekend’s motion at Riviera Country Club.

Chris Gotterup to win the Genesis Invitational (+3500, BetMGM Sportsbook), to end top-10 (+275, BetMGM Sportsbook)

Gotterup is perhaps the breakout star of this Tour season.

In 4 begins, Gotterup has already gained twice, taking first at the Sony Open and WM Phoenix Open, without lacking a cut.

Gotterup’s scorching streak really dates back to last summer season when he completed top-10 5 occasions, including a win at the Scottish Open, from July on.

That’s a long enough stretch to show he just is perhaps the real deal.

And yet, oddsmakers are still pricing Gotterup around the likes of Cameron Young, Harris English and Matt Fitzpatrick.

Those are good golfers in their own proper, but Gotterup could just be turning into one of the heavyweights of the game.

Tony Finau to end top-10 (+850, FanDuel Sportsbook), top-20 (+360, FanDuel Sportsbook)

After a tough start to the season, this one is based on past efficiency.

Finau hasn’t been great in 2026, but Riviera is his likelihood to get back on observe.

He has completed runner-up in the Genesis twice, in 2018 and 2021.

Tony Finau follows his putt on the second inexperienced at Pebble Beach Golf Links during the third spherical of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf match in Pebble Beach, Calif., Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, in Pebble Beach, Calif. AP

Last yr, Finau completed T-5, roaring back from a shaky first spherical 76, although that match was performed at Torrey Pines after the L.A. fires compelled the transfer south.

There are indicators Finau could also be figuring it out after lacking his first two cuts of the yr in January, too, ending top-20 in two of his last three begins.

Oddsmakers are pricing him as a full afterthought, so there’s lots of worth right here.

Max Homa to end top-10 (+530, DraftKings Sportsbook) and top-20 (+205, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Homa is a big fan of Riviera Country Club.

Like Finau, 2026 hasn’t been sort to Homa, but he’s arguably been even more profitable than Finau at this venue.

Betting on golf?

Homa, a Southern California native, has completed in the top 5 at Riviera three occasions and top-20 two more occasions in six profession begins.

Notably, Homa beat out Finau in a playoff in the Genesis Invitational in 2021, which was one of six wins in his PGA Tour profession.

This makes two Tour veterans I’m betting on turning it around this week.
