Fox News guest branded demented as she lashes | TV Shows

Former Disney star Caroline Sunshine lashed out at Late Show host Stephen Colbert, which irked conservative viewers. 

On February 16, Colbert, 61, shared his interview with Texas State Representative James Talarico on YouTube. Talarico, 36, was banned by the CBS community, due to FCC Chair Brendan Carr’s new steerage, from talking with the late-night discuss show host. Carr’s “equal time” rule meant broadcasters who function certified political candidates must present time to rivals.

Talarico also reposted the same YouTube interview with the host on X and wrote, “This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see.

“His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert. Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas,” he closed.

Then, on Fox News‘ broadcast on February 18, the Sean Hannity Show guest mocked Colbert, describing him as a toddler who always wants his way.

Sunshine, 30, said, “He’s being actually cute, you realize. He said the president is a toddler who will get an excessive amount of screentime. If I wished to watch a toddler who will get an excessive amount of screentime, I might flip on Stephen Colbert’s show.

“But like millions of Americans, I don’t. The reality, I think, here is that Stephen Colbert — he’s afraid to have the president on his show, and he should be.

“He has a very unhealthy obsession with President Trump. He mentions him in virtually every monologue a number of instances a week. And he has conditioned his viewers that President Trump is this dangerous, scary, authoritarian determine.

“And he knows that if he has President Trump on his show, his audience is going to see the same affable, likable, funny guy that millions of Americans, even Zohran Mamdani, saw in the Oval Office that day, who the president really is,” she continued.

“I hope the president makes this interesting. I would love for the president to offer himself as a guest on Stephen’s show. He hasn’t been on since 2015.

“And I suppose, based on Colbert’s response, we’ll discover out who’s silencing who.”

Fox News viewers took to social media and slammed the Marmaduke star for her statements. They claimed Sunshine was more obsessed with Trump based on her comments.

One viewer said, “The most weird & demented cult in the historical past of the world.”

Another viewer added, “Affable, likable, humorous man? Sunshine, have you ever really listened to or watched Donald Trump? Affable, likable, and humorous aren’t traits that have EVER been attributed to Trump.”

A 3rd wrote, “Sunshine apparently has a free grasp on actuality. We see Trump enough — he places on the same rally speech anytime somebody arms him a mic — to know he’s unlikable no matter where he’s!!”

Although the star had her detractors, she also had a supporter who agreed with her and shared, “Colbert would love to have Trump on. He wants the scores.”
