Trump caught on hot mic making chilling threat | Political News

President Donald Trump was caught on a microphone making a chilling admission about potential navy strikes on Iran.

Just hours before, the president issued a 10-day deadline for Iran to negotiate a deal with the U.S. before Washington comes up with a answer of its own.

The stunning remark made as he left a press briefing on Friday afternoon has sparked fears that the “solution” might contain navy drive. During the second, the president will be heard saying, “Are you considering a military strike? Yes.”

Trump’s hot-mic second got here as members of the press had been submitting out of an event at the White House earlier in the day. Trump has shared his hopes to attain a deal with Iran, which, up until this level, has been largely unsuccessful despite weeks of talks about placing a nuclear deal.

GWN analyst Barak Ravid wrote that Trump said, “We had good talks with Iran. We have to make a meaningful deal. Otherwise, bad things will happen.” Reports indicate that a possible strike in Iran could happen as soon as this weekend, given that the Trump administration has moved multiple weapons to the Middle East, including two aircraft carriers.

On social media, fears are growing that a potential military strike could spark all-out war with the Middle Eastern country that the U.S. already provoked last summer. “We don’t need to ask him. We can see the planes being flown to bases and aircraft carrier movements. He’s at least threatening to,” one Reddit user wrote, in response to the hot mic video.

Another questioned, “Can’t someone sue him to get a judge to order him to stop? This is clearly against the U.S. Constitution. He can’t declare war without Congress. But no one seems to care.” They added. “And it will cost taxpayers billions. Let alone the millions of lives (U.S. and non-US) who will be at risk, and the chaos in the region that will entail. All this because he’s being manipulated by foreign agents.”

There has been no indication that a deal between the U.S. and Iran is close, but the indication that war could be on the horizon is growing more prevalent. Trump has been coordinating closely with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The pair held a closed-door meeting in Washington, D.C., a few weeks back, with Iran reportedly at the top of the ticket. Ironically, the threat of military action comes just one day after the inaugural meeting of Trump’s Board of Peace.

Leaders from more than 45 countries attended the meeting, where Trump discussed his initiative to bring an end to the war in Gaza. The president proudly discussed the recent name change of the building where the meeting was held.

The administration rebranded the former U.S. Institute of Peace headquarters in Washington as the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace.”This building was constructed for peace,” Trump said. “Nobody knew what to title it, and then Marco named it after me. I had nothing to do with it. I swear.”
