Barry Manilow has shared devastating news, saying he is been compelled to pull the plug on more reveals while gearing up for his upcoming tour.

The iconic singer had been making ready for his “Once Before I Go” tour, but doctor’s orders have left him feeling “depressed”.

Taking to Instagram, Barry delivered a gut-wrenching message to followers about his latest setback. This comes on the heels of his Las Vegas residency being postponed a number of occasions just weeks earlier.

The 82-year-old revealed last yr he’d undergone surgical procedure to take away a cancerous growth from his lung. In an Instagram post, he wrote: “Hi Everyone. Barry here. Just got home from visiting the surgeon. Very depressing visit.

“I told him that I’ve been utilizing the treadmill 3 times a day (I’ve) but that I still could not sing more than three songs in a row before I had to stop. But I used to be sure that I might give you the option to do the Arena reveals in a few weeks. He shook his head.

Barry added: “He said I might possible do the Vegas reveals at the very end of March and the second batch of Arena reveals starting in April.”

In an emotional final note, the performer declared: “I’m SO, SO sorry I’ve to reschedule some of these first Arena reveals. Again! But when I do come back, I’ll COME BACK!”.

“In the meantime, and once again, thanks all for your fantastic notes and cellphone calls of help. The doctor said that my physique had been through hell and that it needed time to heal. So, I’m going back to therapeutic. All my love and gratitude, B.”

This recent development comes just weeks after he was compelled to scrap his Vegas performances. Back in December, he had also revealed to fans that physicians had identified a concerning mark on his left lung.

He expressed his frustration whilst revealing the delay of the original Arena concert dates, which were set to run from February 27 to March 17.

He shared at the time: “As many of you recognize, I not too long ago went through six weeks of bronchitis adopted by a relapse of another 5 weeks.

“Even though I was over the bronchitis and back on stage at the Westgate Las Vegas, my wonderful doctor ordered an MRI just to make sure that everything was OK.

“The MRI found a cancerous spot on my left lung that wants to be eliminated. It’s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was discovered so early. That’s the great news.”

He continued: “The dangerous news is that now that the Christmas Gift Of Love concert events are over, I’m going into surgical procedure to have the spot eliminated. The medical doctors don’t consider it has unfold, and I’m taking exams to affirm their diagnosis. So that’s it. No chemo. No radiation. Just chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns.”
