It sounds just like the United States girls’s Olympic hockey staff is prepared to say “YEAH BOY!” to Flavor Flav’s invitation to Las Vegas to celebrate their Olympic gold medal.
The rapper invited the gold medal winners to Vegas for a celebration in a post on social media, and during a press convention Wednesday in Seattle, Alex Carpenter said the staff would “fully take advantage of that and go have some fun.”
The invitation got here on the heels of the controversy over feedback made by President Donald Trump when talking with the lads’s staff on Sunday, which also gained gold, and told them, “we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that?” after inviting the lads to Tuesday’s State of the Union deal with.

He added that he “probably would be impeached” if he didn’t invite the ladies.
The remark and the response of the lads’s staff to it set off a firestorm of backlash, though it also led to the invite from Flavor Flav.
“It was definitely super special after everything that’s been going around online to be able to have someone step up like that and really go to bat for us,” Carpenter said, while sitting next to her fellow Olympic and Seattle Torrent teammates. “I think we’ll finish our seasons up here and then I think we’re fully going to take advantage of that. Go have some fun and celebrate like we deserve to.”
In his invitation, which was posted on social media on Monday, the Public Enemy member wrote that he would deal with the U.S. girls’s hockey staff to “some nice dinners and shows and good times.”
Carpenter, who said she had been messaging with Flavor Flav, was requested if she had any particular itinerary particulars in the works.

She responded that the group would let the rapper deal with all the things and they’d “just have a good time.”
Flavor Flav was the official hype man for the U.S. bobsled and skeleton groups and is inviting members of those groups as effectively.

The girls’s staff was invited to Washington, D.C., for the SOTU, but they declined because of “timing and previously scheduled academic and professional commitments.”
“We are sincerely grateful for the invitation extended to our gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team and deeply appreciate the recognition of their extraordinary achievement,” a spokesperson for USA Hockey told NBC News.
