A Russian drone reportedly launched from a ship and flew toward a major aircraft provider, escalating tensions between Russia and the West. The Russian drone allegedly approached the French aircraft provider Charles de Gaulle while it was docked in Sweden, according to SVT.

Charles de Gaulle, the flagship of the French Navy, is at present stationed in the port of Malmö as half of a strategic exercise and other actions. Described as a severe security breach associated to the vessel’s go to, the drone is known to have launched from a close by Russian ship and moved toward the provider.

In a post on X at 4am UTC, the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command (Dowództwo Operacyjne Rodzajów Sił Zbrojnych) announced:”Attention. In connection with another massive attack by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine in recent times, conducted using air assault means, the operation of Polish and allied aviation has commenced in our airspace.”

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that during the evening of February 26, Russian forces attacked the Poltava area, concentrating on industrial services and non-public residences throughout town and surrounding space. Officials documented injury to technological tools, manufacturing services, a non-public home and energy transmission infrastructure.

Recovery efforts are underway, according to the service, which confirmed that all fires have been extinguished and no casualties or accidents had been recorded.

Two hours following its initial X post, the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command issued an update saying that army aviation operations in Polish airspace had ended and that ground-based air protection and radar reconnaissance systems had resumed regular operational standing.
