New photos launched by the Pentagon reveal some of the breadth of the U.S.’s putting energy in its struggle against Iran.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced the strikes, dubbed “Operation Epic Fury,” at 1:15 a.m. ET, to “ dismantle the Iranian regime’s security apparatus, prioritizing locations that posed an imminent threat,” according to the CENTCOM X account.

Photos show fighter jets and missiles launching from a naval warship. In a video montage, viewers see a number of missile launches and a fighter jet taking off from a runway.

CENTCOM confirmed targets included Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command and control amenities, Iranian air protection capabilities, missile and drone launch websites, and army airfields.

Israeli authorities report that the strikes had been aimed at Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, President Pezeshkian, and other top political and army leaders.

“The President ordered bold action, and our brave Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Guardians, and Coast Guardsmen are answering the call,” said Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of CENTCOM.

CENTCOM added that following the initial wave of strikes, forces “successfully defended against hundreds of Iranian missile and drone attacks.”

“There have been no reports of U.S. casualties or combat-related injuries. Damage to U.S. installations was minimal and has not impacted operations,” the assertion said.

According to CENTCOM, this operation includes “the largest regional concentration of American military firepower in a generation.”

Iran retaliated by focusing on US and Israeli bases across the Middle East. Satellite imagery cited by a major news outlet and relayed through the New York Times reportedly signifies “extensive damage” to the compound of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in Tehran.

An Israeli official has told GWN that Khamenei is lifeless and that his physique has been discovered, though Iran beforehand denied options that the Supreme Leader had been harm or killed in the strikes, insisting he’s alive and properly.

Over the past a number of weeks, President Trump has constantly warned Iran that it could face the may of the U.S. army.

Following the eruption of protests across the Middle Eastern nation – and the violent police crackdown that adopted – Trump told protesters to keep strong as help was on its approach.
