Leavitt started the briefing by stating, “The president will be meeting with defense contractors, here at the White House, with Secretary Hegseth.” She shared that it was a pre-scheduled assembly with the aim of discussing Trump’s “aggressive and fierce support for rapidly increasing the ability of U.S. manufacturers to produce American-made weapons.”
She called the weapons “the best in the world” and assured the media that the navy has more than enough ammunition “to achieve the objectives of Operation Epic Fury and beyond.”

Asked about whether or not the U.S. has any candidates who may lead Iran next, Leavitt said: “I know there are a number of people that our intelligence agencies and the United States government are looking at but I won’t go any further than that.”
Yesterday, Trump shut down the thought of Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the assassinated supreme chief, as a frontrunner for the function. “Khamenei’s son is unacceptable to me. We want someone that will bring harmony and peace to Iran,” Trump said.
Leavitt then took a few questions from the press. One journalist requested about the timeline of Operation Epic Fury, asking how long U.S. forces could be deployed in the area.
She responded, “I won’t get ahead of the president on broadcasting any timelines. What I will tell you is what President Trump has already laid out, which is that the achievable objective of Operation Epic Fury, is expected to last about four to six weeks and we are well on our way to achieving those objectives.”
She shared that those targets are “annihilating Iran’s Navy” and “taking out the ballistic missile threat.” She said that the United States Military has finished “a tremendous job” just six days into the marketing campaign.
