Stacey Solomon took intention at Princess Catherine during the latest episode of BBC sequence Sort Your Life Out. The X Factor star travelled to the home of the Craigs – belonging to a married couple both named Craig, along with their daughter Elle – who needed help decluttering their home. Stacey was stunned by the quantity of toys, crafting provides and garments littering the home.

Along with her group of consultants, she helped the couple take the whole lot out of the home and displayed it in a warehouse so the decluttering might happen in earnest. But during the first inspection of the home, Stacey was taking part in with the Craigs’ little woman when she found a plastic tiara and positioned it in her hair.

Stacey requested Elle: “What do you think?” and the little woman told her: “You look like Princess Catherine.”

Clarifying, Stacey said: “Princess Kate? William’s wife?”

When Elle answered in the affirmative, Stacey gushed: “Aww, thank you. It should have been me,” she quipped at a dig to the Princess of Wales.

Elle cheekily replied: “I know!” and Stacey jokingly waved her off.

Viewers weren’t impressed by the muddle on social media, with some arguing the show ought to be axed.

One grievance on X read: “How Stacey Solomon continues to get these gigs is a mystery??”

Someone else replied: “Why this programme is made is an even bigger mystery. BBC licence money being spent on people who can’t be a***d to tidy their homes!”

Another said: “This is like Embarrassing Bodies but for houses… nobody wants to see this.”
