Jerry Leach has tragically died aged 32.
The proficient country and rock star died in a freak accident exterior his home, and following the horrific incident, his group Not Leaving Sober, have determined to dedicate an April 4 gig at The Stone Pony in New Jersey to honor their “selfless brother.”
Neighbors helped cops push the car off him following the freak accident, but despite their efforts, it was sadly too late, reported New Jersey 101.5 on March 12.
He was discovered unresponsive and trapped under the car’s rear tire. Multiple officers from the prosecutor’s workplace, the sheriff’s division, and the medical examiner are attending the fatality.
On March 13, the band issued a assertion on social media confirming Jerry’s passing.
“Jerry was more than just a bassist – he is and always will be our brother, our friend and one of the most selfless humans we’ve ever been blessed to cross paths with,” it began.
“Jerry is forever a part of our journey, as he is a largely responsible for how far we’ve come these last four years, and how far we will go from here.”

The band has also shared pics of a T-shirt designed in his reminiscence, with earnings “donated directly to Jerry’s family, after covering the cost to produce them.”
Fans have also commented on Jerry’s devastating death, with one consumer commenting, “My heart is broken for all of you. Jerry was most certainly one in a million and loved by so many. He will be sorely missed, but loved forever.”
“Jerry was the first person I’ve met from the band, nicest guy ever and such a total goofball. So thankful I got to call him a friend rip buddy, fly high,” another said.
