“So I think you should be happy about that – that they do try to preserve it as a whole, they have a certain thing that they are looking for. So I think Jason Kelce…who’s relatable and is a very good athlete and is probably friends with a lot of these guys that are gonna be golfing in there. I think he will provide a bonus for that par three coverage.

“But to the people that had been upset, saying that The Masters are the only factor you got left, know that they’ve turned us down very loudly quite a few instances, which I feel must be good news for the state of their golf and the best way they view it all.”
Despite the backlash Kelce has faced from fans who feel he has compromised the integrity of the Masters, McAfee sympathizes with the outrage as a fellow sports enthusiast.
“That’s what I feel people still – there’ll still be like a Masterss customary,” he continued. “And that’s why the only cause why I’m saying they’ve told us, ‘Yeah, proper.’
“A couple of times, cause they’re like still very much, the people that are making those decisions are very like, ‘We’re not doing that,’ which we understand and respect. It’s the Masters, for God’s sake, it’s down there in Augusta. We understand that as a whole.”
